I'm driving from San Diego to Loreto on Sunday. I heard that finding diesel fuel could be a problem. Has anyone driven the road recently? Any info would be appreciated.

I hear it's available in El Rosario, but San Quintin's a problem. TJ to El Rosario is about 230m so bring extra fuel if needed. Then from El R to QN is about 200M. No problems accuring south of El R. For now....

El Rosario to QN ? GN= Guerrero Negro, perhaps?
Villa Jesus Maria is the next Pemex after El Rosario... close to 200 miles away... then the Eagle Monument (state border) has a station, then Guerrero Negro, downtown, some 4 miles from the border.

I wouldn't pass up any place that has diesel... El Rosario may limit the sale to 50 litres, per station owner Antonio Muñoz.
