I am thinking of going to Scammons Lagoon on a whale watching tour in Feb 07 with the San Diego State Univ tour. Anyone have any experience with this tour? Sounds good but I would like some other input. Let me know. Thanks.

I'm late seeing your post, but I am curious whether you went or not. We just got back from Guerrero Negro and whale watching--fantastic experience, especially when done at the park, not at the mouth of the lagoon as many tour operators conduct the tour.

im thinking of doing a tour there too but im wondering if its not too late at March 13th. anyone know if this is a bad time? or should we wait till next year.

Since no one more knowledgeable has replied, I will. It's my understanding that the whales have begun their trip to Alaska by the middle of March.
