Help! I have been trying to find how to get to La Paz without spending my next year's salary. We live in Florida so we are a ways away but the only airline tickets I can find will cost us over $2000 and the time to get there is 11 hours and in some cases overnight. I'm sure I am not the first person who has run into this and I am hoping someone has some suggestions. I even looked into a train to LA but it no longer departs from Florida. Any ideas? Thanks.

with fuel prices the way they are, it is getting rough to fly anywhere. Hotwire always seems to me to have the best deals. But even then you have to be pretty flexible with dates, etc. Check out their site if you haven't yet. I found round trip tickets at a little over 800 dollars per person without messing around much, so there are probably cheaper deals out there. Here is the address of what I looked at, hope it helps:

Check the cost of flying into Los Cabos... take a bus to La Paz. Los Cabos has more flights from the states than La Paz, so better deals perhaps?
