I know that Baja isn't well known for their Day of the Dead celebrations, but does anyone know of anything interesting going on around this time? I would like to drive down, perhaps as far as Mulege, during the last week of October/first week of November, but I've never been farther south on the peninsula than Ensenada. I would appreciate any recommendations/tips.

Hola,The trip down is very easy. The only LONG stretch is between San Quintin and Guerro Negro about 240 mi. As for thigs happening on the day of the dead, there is a small parade in Mulege and durring the day, the family members visit the gravesites in the cemetary. That's about all
unless you want to go farther South.I have lived down there for twenty years at Santispac, the beach 13 miles South of Mulege and the area comes ALIVE durring the Easter week. jc
