My wife and I are now retired and are interested in rv camping on the Sea of Cortez. We have no idea of what to expect, roads, parks, grocery stores, you get the picture. We've been camping for 37 years but don't know what to expect. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Camping in Baja is perhaps different than staying in a U.S. RV Park... There are full service RV parks in San Felipe... but if you want to experience a more 'Baja-like' place to camp near there.... and don't need hook ups (you know, 'real camping') then have a look at a campground that was estalished 40 years ago and remains very much the same as back then... except for the full grown shade trees, flush toilets and cold showers: Nuevo Mazatlan at Km. 32, south of San Felipe about 20 miles...

Here's a few photos: Nuevo Mazatlan
