My wife and myself are seriously thinking about moving to Baja Norte. We aren't sure where maybe Ensenada area. We have lived in Spain and Turkey and we ejoyed the experience. If anyone could point us in the right direction to get started it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance

BoB:.......my suggestion is Punta Banda or Ensenada. Being retired military myself (Army) it is important that you are only about 90 minutes from San Diego and the military facilities there....maybe my good amigo bajapi will add some comments????

We have a lot for sale across from puerto nuevo on the hill overlooking the ocean. Great place to retire( martsus@pcmagic.net) if interested.
Good investment and only 28 miles from the U.S. San Diego border.

Bob - you should check out the San Felipe area. I am a property owner there. Only a 2 hour drive (120 miles) south of Mexicali (home of Costco, Home Depot etc) and it is located on the northern waters of the Sea of Cortez. Good medical facilities, reasonable prices for food, drink & real estate - but the area is gwowing quickly. It will be a good investment. RV solar lots available from $10,000. Finished homes from $130,000 - all with ocean and mountain views.

We live in Rosarito Beach, just north of Ensenada, part time, and have owned our place for 8 years now. If there is any information you think I might have that would help you, please feel free to ask.
