So am i right to choose to move to Ensenada to live for a year or more??I am a British woman that has lived in Los Angeles the last 7 years and i need to move so i can save some money for my dogs hip replacement surgery.I don't drive so i am relying on a buddy to drive me us and all our stuff.
I have looked at other places like Playa Baja but when someone is helping you move you cant go to far.
If anyone can give me any info on this area.Also i work from home on the internet,is it easy and cheap being online in Mexico.And mainly sat tv..i need my BBC America channel i hope i can get this.

Ensenada is a very nice and calm city. As soon as you get there you can breath tre tranquility people have over there.

Since it is on the coast, the weather is nice but usually not hot

The best Internet access you van get there is a service through TELNOR called prodigy infinitum.... they have several plans and prices depending on what speed and requirements you need. Check http://www.telnor.com

Mandie, I have lived in Mexico for more than thirty years the last 12 years in Ensenada. I also work at home on the computer and use the internet as an inexpensive alternative to communicate with family and friends. As Antonio Muñoz, previously noted you can get internet service through several different providers 'Telnor', Cablemas in limited areas, or through your own satellite down link system. Satellite TV service is also available and is a preferable alternative to cable service because of the problems Cablemas has receiving San Diego TV channels. Despite this, Ensenada is a big town approximately 400,000+ people however, it is one of the easiest cities to get around for those who do not drive because of their local bus system 'Micros' @ 6 pesos to travel locally around town. All things considered Ensenada is a great town because, of its people, shopping, entertainment, climate, the ease for those who do not drive to get around town, not to mention its proximity to the U.S.,
