FYI for anyone heading to Loreto. The Oasis Hotel has been shut down. By the labor union or hacienda is unclear, also whether it is temporary or not.

Hotel Oasis in Loreto remains closed due to a Labor Strike. The Management tryied to reduce some personnel and the Union did not agree and the workers decided to go on a strike.
Right now negotiations are taking place between La Paz and Loreto and we are expecting to reopen for the end of this month.
