If anyone is interested, I just got off the phone with one of the captains who lives in San Juan de Los Planes outside of La Paz. He told me there were no casualties, only lots of tree damage, a few roofs got torn up and a few cows ended up as bait in the Sea of Cortez. Oh yeah, he said in some parts around Los Planes, it seemed as if some giant monster had taken bites off the road.
All in all, everyone is fine, they have electricity, gas and food.
