Just a warning to all my friends that love the beaches of Baja. Recently we rented a house on the beach in Punta Banda on a site that I grew up camping on long before there were houses and the now shut down hotel was just a partially-built and abandoned empty shell.

There are many nice houses there but we rented at what's called #509 Baja from www.mexicobeachhouse.com.
You do not want to rent this unit. It's not what they advertise. I think they used very old pictures for their web-site as the unit is in terrible condition, not clean, and bug infested.

It will ruin your vacation enjoyment.
