My folks, Floyd Thompson and Leona Brown from Port Townsend, Washington left for Mulege from Tecate on the 14th of November, planning on taking 3 days to make the drive to their place at the Orchard RV park. I still haven't heard from them. I don't have contact information for anyone in Mulege. My dad is a member of the Rotary club in Mulege and a regular at the fitness center. They visit Jungle Jim's for a meal now and then and are friend's with one of the women who cooks there (possibly related to the owner). They are also very close with a woman named Yoland Eggleston. Yolanda's husband runs some fishing charters, I believe, but I can't remember his name. If Thanksgiving hadn't come & gone with no word, I might not be too concerned, but... they're old phone # was disconnected and they were planning to get new service- but, I imagine that that can take some time there! I can't remeber the name of the radio contact system that many of you use...it happens around 9 or 10 am everyday for messages,etc. - they faithfully listen to that. If someone would please pass a message along, that would be great.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who may know Floyd & Leona, or possibly Yolanda- or, if you have any other ideas on how I can better attempt to check on/find them- could get in touch with me. Thanks Bombero. I've seen your name on the Mulege site. I thought I'd registered the other day and tried to post to no avail. I've just re-read the user name registering instructions and sent an email. Hopefully I can get a post up today. Just this morning I managed to get a phone # for Mari Bel at the Via Maria Isabel, and she's trying to help me get some information.

and, no, Bajabim, that is not a consideration as we spoke the day before he left CA and he said he'd be in touch as soon as they could. I'll just have to assume you didn't intend your comment to seem as RUDE as it did.
