This last July we heard from Camp Gecko that Gringa Point was fenced off: no more camping, so we didn't come down for our October trip. Does anyone have info about what's happening there? Appreciate any info!

My wife and I were down there during Thanksgiving and we drove down to the point. There was a woman in a camper that said she was from some environmental agency and asked if we intended to camp. We were only out there to fish a little so she said it was alright to drive through the opening in the fence. We got the impression that had we wanted to camp we would have to have paid a fee. And it looked liked she maintains the lock on the fence gate.

I saw lots of people camping out there all of October. they did have to pay a fee to the gatekeeper.

Hey I noticed some of you were just in L.A. Bay, I'm looking for info on the fuel situation in L.A. Bay! Do they have a Pemex there? What about diesel? we are leaving December 15th and want to make a side trip but I'm concerned about getting fuel there. HELP!!!!

I was wondering about Campo Gecko. Has the Dr. closed it down ? I can't get seem to get any info.
