My wife and I will be staying at Villa Bahia for the week of Thanksgiving. What is the weather,tides and fishing like during that time. I've read that the town has been nearly empty lately. Also, we'd like to split the ride down by staying one night in San Quintin. Any suggestion for a nice hotel/motel

We stayed at the La Pinta in San Quintin, and it is fine. Nice walking beach, restaurant and bar. Rooms were nice too but ask for the ones with the mini splits. If you get a resident discount card (if you have an FM3) the room price is around $45... without it, $75 FYI

La Pinta was all booked up - I guess for the Baja 1000 overflow....we have a reservation at The Old Mill Hotel. The gal on the phone sounded real friendly and accommodating. We decided not to drive another 25 miles south to El Rosario in the dark. Old Mill seemed like a good way-point....thanks everyone for your imput.
