Hi:
My name is Catryna or (BIOYNX).
I have a question for those of you have been
to Bahia de los Angeles. I camped on the beach
south of the town back in 1959 with my parents
and three younger brothers. There was a rock ruin
on the hillside near the water. Has anyone of you
seen it in recent years? I have wondered, over the years,
as to what it was originally, if it had a name or even
if it is still there. If you need a picture of it with
any luck at all I could upload it. By the way are there
any pictures in the gallery? I wasn't able to find any.
Thanks, Catryna

I don't remember the rocks. Are you going down soon?

I used to travel to The Bay of Los Angeles with my father in the 70's & 80's two or three times per year to camp, fish and explore. I believe the ruins you are talking about are the ruins of an old warf used to ship out Silver ore from a local silver mine that was located out in the desert on the trail South of town a few miles. Friends and I used to catch loads of halibut durf fishing just south of this spot. Trips here with my father were the best times I ever had with dad and I will never forget the beauty of this region.

Cool

For visuals and GPS coordinates, download GOOGLE'S EARTH software (free). The free version allows you to grab Longitude/latitude also.

You can get great visuals of BOLA - Big Grin
