I've been doing some research on places to stay in BOLA. How is Villa Vitta and I heard Los Vientos pool is usually out of service. Guillermo's looks good too. What would you say? Air Conditioning is a must.

Anyone info would be appreciated.

Based on reading others reports on various message boards and personal experience, I see them in this order from most to least desireable:

GOOD to GREAT

1) Costa del Sol

2) Raquel & Larry's

3) Villa Bahia (more of a B&B than motel)

others (with less than what you seek or have other issues):

Okay if the others are full, check rooms first:

4) Guillermo's

5) Las Hamacas

6) Casa Diaz

Avoid unless you check them carefully, and prices:

7) Los Vientos

8) Villa Vita

I am a big fan of larry and Raquel's.
Plus you get the seaside 18 holes golf course.
It plays just under 2,000 yards and you play the
whole thing with a sandwedge.

really depends on what you want. Casa Diaz is great if you want cheap, on the beach, and don't mind a single bare low-wattage light bulb. By "cheap" I mean probably half the price of anyplace else in town. Seriously cheap.

I agree and also a very nice place to eat lunch.
We usually camp out at Daggett's but no 'aire acondicionado' just good showers and plenty of stars in the sky at night.
Sucba girl,
Do you get your tanks filled in L.A. Bay and if so, where? We have been bringing all the tanks down from San Diego for a week of diving and would sure like to get fills from a reliable source there.
Thanks for any info you can pass along.
Lo mejor,
