Lots in this area have become more valuable. There are no more lots available to lease that are zoned for RVs and mobile homes. You can only acquire one of these lots by transfering the lease through the selling of the lease. This is an inexpensive way to have a vacation, retirement or permanent home in Baja. I am looking at leasing a home in La Mision/the mountain side. There are about 5 homes built by Raphael Orozco, Playas de Mision, 2 orange, one white, one green, and one red. These sound like they are right in the area where you have your lot. I have been told that the mountain side has lots of problems with drugs, and that there are break ins all the time. I am wondering what are your thoughts since you are familiar with this area? I am moving down to retire, and do not want two women to be in an area where we should not be!!!!!
The area that you where looking at, is on the North side of the La Mision river (Rosarito Dist), we are on the Southside, (On the Ridge and in the Ensenada Dist side). Not sure if they have security, we have very helpful (great) security and a very low crime rate. living here for over a year (full time) we havent seen any crime - knock on wood...
