My husband and I have a couple lots that we are anxcious to sell. We had planned to retire near Mulege but due to health and finances have had to change our mind. The lots are amazing, right on the water with views, amenities and more. Way under your price range. If you are still looking, please let me know. hsieradzki@moneymailer.com

Hi,
We are also looking in that same area for a lot for retirement, so what is the price for your lots? Interested.

Hi there,
I have six contiguous lots for sale in the town of Loreto . Prices start at $17,000 for a lot of 2,580 sq ft. My lots are in a residential neighborhood and have paved streets and concrete sidewalks, underground water and sewer, above ground electricity and telephone service. My lots are priced economically and are intended for people that need to get the best value for thier dollar and can't afford beach front property. Land on the beach in Loreto is $46 USD per sq ft, land in town and 1 mile from the beach in a residential area described above is $6.00 per sq ft, construction costs are about $72 per sq ft for simple floor plans. Do the math. By the way, how long does it take to drive 1 mile to the beach and Marina? about 5 minutes.

I made the website myself and it contains Maps and videos of Loreto, current information on real estate, construction costs, cost of living expenses, property ownership and the closing process, description of Loreto, its history, and much much more.

You can have a new studio home on your own lot for a total of $53,000 USD plus land purchase closing costs. A new 900 sq ft ft home in Loreto on your own lot is $82,000 USD.

There are two kinds of people who want to own a vacation home in the Baja: 1)money is no object and can afford to spend $350,000 and up for a 1,200 sq ft beach front condo in a gated community and pay $250 per month for life. 2)People who can't afford the afore-mentioned condo but can afford $53,000 to $82,000 plus closing costs for their own house on their own lot and no monthly association fee, just $50 per year for property taxes.

Last year at this time my family paid $60,000 plus closing costs for a 900 sq house (only seven years old) on a 9,300 sq lot enclosed by a stucco walled fence in La Paz just 1/4 mile from the beach, 5 miles from downtown La Paz (downtown starts at the beach near the beautiful new marina), a and just two miles from the airport (in Dec 2008, a new Walmart and Sam's club opened up just two miles from the house).

Money IS an object for my family, but we managed to buy a vacation dream home. I am offering the same opportunity in Loreto and La Paz. I am an accountant by trade and I know all the details of the condition of the Mexican economy, the real estate market in La Paz and Loreto, current construction costs, home ownership, administrative obstacles and requirements, etc., etc., etc. See my website for everything that you need to know and then some.
