Does anyone know if there is a medical facility in Mulege? If not where would the closest one be? Also, how do I contact them from the states? I have a loved one somewhere in that vacinity that is very ill and I need to find out where he might be - he doesn't answer cell phone.

Just a local clinic. Next largest, Santa Rosalia, then Loreto then La Paz.

Chances are, depending on the illness/condition, the person you are looking for would have sought elevated care in La Paz (also, International Airport closeby).

We have a clinic here in Mulege but it provides only the basic services. If we can't resolve the problem in our clinic, patients are sent to Santa Rosalia or to La Paz.
