My husband and I are purchasing a campground in Baja and are searching for financing. It's a rather unusual market and we're looking for any leads. One point of consideration - we're purchasing as a Mexican corporation rather that going the fidecomiso route.

why is right,!!! If you buy thru a corporation you will only have a 49% ownership the 51% goes to the mexican citezen .it is required by mexican law . my suggestion is get it under a trust )fideocomiso) for now until you get citenzenship - RESIDENES - you must prove residence, water bills gas bills
ect.. it takes about five years with your fm3. then you can take it off the trust and put it under your name.. A TRUST IS A SAFE WAY OF PROTECTING YOU INVESTMENT TO START .. JUST A OPTION..................

Better yet....make your money in the US and play in Mexico...much more rewarding, safer and enjoyable. If you operate a business which a Mexican can do equally as well, you will have problems!!
