looking for info. on the ferry from guaymas to santa rosalia, passenger rates,with motorcycle,days of week it runs and time of day. Latist I've found is from 1999 hopeing for more up to date. Thank you

i emailed to make a reservation (in spanish) for a passenger. they emailed back and said to call one day ahead of time to confirm. as i haven't traveled yet, i don't know if this made things easier. my understanding is to get to the ferry office as early as possible the day you want to leave, if not days ahead of time.

My son and I took it two years ago in mid February. I think the cost of bike and passenger at that time was about $150 each. It was running to Guaymas 3 times a week. We got on aboard around 7P on a Thurs and arrived in Guaymas around 5A. The bikes were strapped down so the won't drop if the weather comes up. Suggest you strap your own bike. You'll need to get a temporary vehicle import permit in Santa Rosalia before taking the bike to the mainland. The gov't office for this process is just north of the main ferry dock. You'll need copies of registration, passport, tourist permit, and insurance. They give you a decal for your windshield.
