South of Ensenada the highway is closed... many bridges are damaged or gone. Just saw a YouTube of the San Vicente bridge washed away. Santo Domingo river bridge (in Colonia Guerrero) and the bridge over Arroyo El Rosario also damaged or gone.

Baja Cactus owner Antonio has posted that as of today, 1-25-09, detours and tractors are getting cars and trucks through as the water level has been dropping. New rain coming this week won't help, however. See the other major Baja forum for more updates and photos and YouTube viseos of the bridges and flooding...

Highway was opened last night and travelers are posting (on the other Baja forums) that they have arrived north from Loreto. Baja Cactus (El Rosario) owner said the Pemex truck arrived last night from Ensenada to add fuel to their tanks.
