Hola! I am looking to purchase an avocado tree for our house on the east cape (Los Zacatitos). I cant seem to find viveros in San Jose that sell avocado trees! Do you know where I can find one?

Avocado trees generally do poorly in BCS. Maybe the soil/groundwater is too salty.

thanks for tip! i have seen trees in Santiago and Pescadero, but nothing on the east cape..perhaps I should try there...

There are a TON of avocado trees on the east cape, especially south of Los Barriles. As you head south toward San Jose del Cabo, just before you get to the ocean, there is an avocado industry there.
