The drug war is news bad enough out of Mexico. News of squatters & the like . . . disheartening, particularly for one here long enough to raised a family elementary school into the Universities here. Life in Mexico can be realized by any that dream of it without necessary expectation of crime. It begins with patience and continues through proper Mexican paperwork.

Would you amplify on your suggestion that patience and proper Mexican paperwork somehow avoids being a victim of crime in Mexico? Fill in the blanks for us.
