I’m from Cairns in North Queensland Australia. I fly into LAX 12th Dec 2006 1pm. Going to La Paz Baja California. Is the bus a viable option? I can’t find the info to confirm. Can I bus to Tijuana and travel overnight to La Paz? I’ve checked the Tijuana-on-line website and it gives Aguila Autotransportes S.A de C.V. (Autotransportes de la Baja California ABC) as going from Tijuana to La Paz. But I can’t get a web site for Aguila Autotransportes S.A de C.V. The website for ABC is under construction.

Once you get to the bus station in TJ, there will be southbound buses continually departing (about every 1/2 - 1 hour) all the way to La Paz (then to Los Cabos). It has been some time since I have taken the bus, but it is more than an acceptable method of travel on the Peninsula (some have all the amenities - toilets, ect). All the bus lines you have mentioned are currently active.
