No real problems with gas. Only long stretch is between El Rosario and Guerrero Negro. However gas is often available at Catavinia from drums. Search internet or buy a guide book for more info on hotels. RN
We just drove to Punta Chivato and there was gas at all the usual places. The gas station at the "Iron Eagle" at Guerrero Negro was out of gas and some of our party had to drive back through the ag check station into town to fill up. We camped so no info on the hotels.
A GOOD PRACTICE IS TO KEEP THE TANK FULL. WE HAD A GAS OUTAGE LAST WEEK HERE IN SANTA ROSALIA BUT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN CORRECTED. JUST DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE FILL-UP.
So has anyone noticed if the price of gas is higher than say back in Oct 03? I'm heading to Chivato in two weeks. Not sure to take loan out on house to buy gas for round trip (Ha!)
