are there any stores in the punta eugenia/bahia tortugas area where we can get gas and or diesel,food,ice and beer? How about air fills for scuba tanks? We are traveling down there within the next couple of weeks. thanks in advance for any help or tips that you can give me. Eric

The short answer is YES... A resident of 'nearby' Bahia Asuncion (Shari) is a regular contributor on the www.B aja*****.com froums who can help. I have read other's trip reports to Totugas, as well.

Deisel fuel, ice and beer can be bought at the fuel dock in Tortuga. There is always some one that that will take your list to the store for you or show you where it is. When you get into bay stay 1/2 mile out until your perpendicular to the dock. There is a reef just west of the dock and very shallow.
