Is it safe to drive at night in and around Loreto? What about taking a taxi at night? We're staying at the Inn at Loreto Bay (about 7 miles south of town), but don't want to feel trapped (ie: want to go out in town at night for dinner and then drive/taxi back). We're concerned because everyone tells us not to drive Hwy 1 at night. Thanks for any insight.
