Has anyone recently driven or heard any info on the East/West road from Hwy 1 into San Juanico?

If you are referring to Hiway 1 (south of Bahia Concepcion) to San Juanico (Scorpion Bay - Pacific Coast), it is very rough going all the way to La Purisima.

Perhaps the easiest (and maybe fastest) is to go to Ciudad Insurgentes back north on Hwy 53 to the cut off to San Juanico (west) before reaching La Purisima.

That's the road Bombero. We drove it last August in a truck and a jeep without too much trouble, just took it nice and easy. However, I definitely think its faster then going all the way around via Ciudad Insurgentes. Some friends and I are getting ready to head that way again and have been debating about whether or not to go the east road into San Juanico via La Purisima or try the north/south road via San Ignacio. I fear the debate will rage between us until we get to San Ignacio. Thanks,
