Anyone been over the road from just north of Catavina out to the coast at Punta Canoas/Arroyo San Jose lately? Used this road about five years ago to access the coast.

This year we want to take a camper out with us and need to know if the road has been upgraded at all. Picked up a map dated 2004 in Ensenada that labels the road as "graded" but the 2003 AAA map shows it as "dirt to poor dirt".

As of November, 2003 it was as AAA states, dirt to poor dirt.Pitted for the Baja 1000 out at Punta Canoas. One fellow, in our group, was driving a full size 2wd ford van and pulling a double axle equipment trailer. He had to work at it to get through there, but made it under his own power.
