Is the road passable to tow a 20 foot trailer pass the Meling Ranch into the National Park towards the Observatory? If so how far and any reccomendations on where to camp? My other option I was thinking of going to beat the heat was Laguna Hanson is it possible to tow a 20 foot trailer to the lake? If so any suggestions on where to camp?

drove it in oct04 road to laguna hanson from north was good except for 2 arroyo/ditch/river crossings.
maybe too much for any trailer. road from southwest was great and there were no issues for trailering. many cool and great sites at the "lake". lake was dry but it it was cool and beautiful. remided me of colorado tom |
