"Vags – Saw your notice about the pothole at Palo Verde. It is indeed there. It is at Km marker 162 (more or less) at "Vado Vimed" (there is a sign). The BIG hole is at the north end of the washout and is in the southbound lane. It is advisable to crosss over into the northbound lane to miss the hole.

The vado washed out in hurricane Marty and has yet to be permanently repaired. It looks like the Mexican Government might build a bridge at this location, but for the moment the road is a very roughly-graded dirt road. RICK BARBER – Mulege"
