I am planning to ride my motorcycle to La Paz. Mircosoft Streets and Trip won't let me go from San Ignacio to Santa Rosalia. Is there construction on Hwy 1 here?

I am riding my bike to La Paz by myself. Taking the ferry to Matazlan, returning up the mainland side. Is there anything I should watch out for. I don't speak spanish. Will this be a huge problem.
