I was hoping for some info re: boat ramp at Punta Chivato. I have a 20 ft boat (heavy) with a 20 degree deadrise. Will the ramp be suitable and if so, are there any tide restrictions or other restrictions??

Don't know abut boat ramp @ PT.
but 40 days restriction on fishing in Mulege area . off shore way out ok.

Restriction from when till when? includes Punta Chivato area?

How far offshore is permissable?? Appreciate any further info...don't want to haul boat down for just offshore... thanks

According to a post on another forum by Diana Johnson of the Serenidad, she heard the rumor of fishing closure & called the state department that deals w/that. The actual closure is beaches only for clamming, etc. Open water fishing has no closure.

We will continue with our plans for a short trip to Punta Chivato. We live in Punta Abreojos but need a Mar de Cortez fix!

When you take 12 ft tin to PC, where do you fish? Where do you go to fish for Dorado? Do you fish with bait or use feathers/lures? Thanks for any help...
