MY HUSBAND AND I ARE PLANNING A LITTLE EXPEDITION OUT TO MULEGE IN OUR DIESEL PUSHER IN JULY OF THIS YEAR. WE WILL BE HOUSE HUNTING FOR A VACATION HOME. CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A GOOD RV PARK, WE WILL BE TRAVELING WITH 2 CHILDREN (TODDLERS). ALSO, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FIND A HOUSE DOWN THERE? I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL INTERNET ADS. ALL SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE GLADLY WELCOME! THANK YOU

The Cuesta Real right off of Hwy. 1 is a good bet. Centrally located and great facilities, including a pool - which you will love during July.

Next door is Villa Maria, also has pool and shade.

Both are good locations since many places for sale are close by and easy to get to.

Have a good trip -

I looked at Cuesta Reals web site. No rates, or indication they were also an RV Park. Is Cuesta Real strictly a hotel. I sure could not tell from there site. Also, not specific location shown.

Actual, the place is more of a motel, 8-10 units or so, located on the east side of the property. The RV spaces, 8-10 spaces are on the west side, roomy with full hookups. There is a small pool, and sometimes a cantina is in operation. There is a laundromat and other amenities. I think you can get access to a computer with a high speed connection for checking your eMail. I haven't looked at their website but I think you can also get current rates via eMail.

The place is well manicured and cared for.

The Cuesta Real is the Best! We just stayed there for 10 days - don't rush it, stay awhile, you'll like it. Ken & Cristina are great hosts and you will be pleased at the availability of services, great pool, great food, great people, WiFi, laundry, full RV hook-ups for U.S.$18-20/day, rooms from $49/day meals $5-$20, cold beverages, coffee always, did I mention the great pool?

You can walk to town & set off from the Cuesta Real to anywhere in and around the Beautiful Mulege Area, the Sierras, the Fertile Valley, the Beaches...

Super Good People!

Email Ken for availability: htl_cuesta_rl@hotmail.com

Thanks so much for the inside info. Did you stay in your RV? How is the road down to Mulege? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks again!

We stayed in a room but visited with (new) friends staying in RVs. They say the road is good and we drove around in a rental. We saw RVs in places I wouldn't take the car. We went slow in the mountains and fast in the flats. You'll be just fine, have fun...

Hi ES. The Cuesta Real is also my pick. I live here in Mulege and know Ken & Christina very well. They're great people and run a super park. If your RV isn't one of the HUMONGUS ones, you should be able to get it in. Give Ken a call and he can tell you.

As for Real Estate companies in Mulege. Pelican Reef. Period!!! You can take that to the bank from a former CA licensed real estate agent.

The roads are good to Mulege with the exception of San Ignacio. Lots of chucks there so go slow.
