All of the reports seem to be for the Orchard, and the Oasis...How about the other side of the river ? La Fortuna is across the road from Sauls, what is the damage there? How about the places up the river road from Sauls?

As far as the other side is concerned. I was wondering if anyone has any info on how Manuel Araiza and his family has faired.

Manuel's home had four feet of water in it, but the family was able to get out in time. Doing well, just busy getting everything cleaned up.

Chuck,
Pretty nasty in Fortuna. I moved in to the top house (yellow) and we had 4" of mud and 3' of water inside. Gary McCullough and Rob (bought Gary's house) my Brother in law and me lived in my upstairs bedroom for about a week. Gary George lost trailer and all windows. Klause lost the uphill wall and roof. Waynes house was 1 electrical hook up from completion. full of water. McCullaghs, under water,Gene and Zelmas just a jumble of roofing, airstream through the wall and downstream.Don and Pegs, lost roof andcontents. Bodega's back wall and roof gone BBq palapa gone. Larry and Kay lost trailer and roof all else on that side either lost roof , trailers, walls etc. Just stuff. Saul's had a foot of water in the lower part of the store. Town is just like old times, muddy streets, bottled water Pacifico on ice.
