Does anyone know how the flooding from hurricane John affected the river channel?
I usually launch my boat from the ramp by the Serenidad and it was very dependent on the tide if I could make it, any better/worse?

Used ramp and channel 6 times last two weeks. Ramp is ok, but needs work on broken LH portion of cemented ramp. Channel is another story. Sand bars are numerous especially on low tide. River above fish camp and ramp is not usable, even on high tide. No access 300 yards above what used to be marked rock bar. Island off ramp is built up with much sand that jets out into what was the normal channel. Recommend depth sounder to find best way. Bill Havig is collecting money and making plans to improve both the ramp and dock at Donation Pier. He is needing more $$ to get work started. Dad, Hank when out fishing yesterday & today and they are still catching Dorado. Sierra & yellowtail are not in yet.
