We are driving to Mulege for winter break. EcoMundo sounds interesting but, are not answering phone calls. Emails are returned undelivered. We want to reserve 2 palapas on the beach but are willing to consider alternatives for 4 days. Any advise would help. We have 3 adults and a 9 yr old daughter. Love kayaking.

I think the people managing Eco-mundo have left and the owner is still in Thailand. I dont believe it's operating at this time. But I am not down there. Maybe someone else who lives nearby can give you more specifics.

Consider camping in town on the north side of the river at Huerta Don Chano 615-153-0720. There's grassy shade under fruit trees, hot showers, security, family atmosphere. Kayaks and bicycles can be rented in town.

Try the accomodations at Casa De Los Suenos, just south of Santispac. Absolutely grand accomodations. Kayaks are part of the rental package.
The hostess/owner, Elaine Evanshen, is a great example of Hostess with the mostest. http://www.casadelossuenos.com/index.htm |
