VMX, i just had a fellow vag ask how the fishin' would be down there right now. Have you heard anything from the locals about what's being caught offshore or in close? Dorado, billfish, tuna, etc. Any locals care to contribute? Hot and humid enough for you? Inquiring minds want to know.
Talked to my partner Don, who is down there now. Dorado fishing has been poor, but he went to Loreto and warm water and big Dorado are moving north...late this year...They are headed back today, so thas all I can contribute..
Hi buddha, thanks for getting us off that "other" subject. I have asked around, to the guys at Serenidad, Dany's Taco's, the internet cafe across and down the street from Dany's and everyone says it's slow, slow, slow....When I came down here the first week of August, I did see a lot of action on the Pacific side, especially at San Quintin, but after landing in Mulege 2 days later there has been little if any activity. I see very few boats going out. The heat may be playing a part, as even the locals are saying it's really hot. Keep in touch.
