My husband and 2 young kids (5 and 9 ) go tent camping on Coyote beach every year for a few weeks in december. We're trying to figure out if we will be able to go this year...we'd like to, and we think the Muleje townspeople can use our tourist dollars more than ever. We're trying to determine if there will be clean water at the purifcado plants, and food at the grocery stores for our camping needs. Are their still palapas standing at Coyote?
It sounds like the roads have been repaired, we should be able to get there from California...is that correct?? Any info would be helpful. We would really like to make our annual trip, but are extra worried about food and water supply since we have young kids. Any info about current conditions and timelines for future repairs would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi my family and I drove down to Mulege to Playa el Burro, there is plenty of gas the way down there. There is gas in the following locations that i stopped to put gas and i drove a astro van down there,I filled it up here in San Diego i went all the way to San Quintin, I filled again in San Quintin went all the way to Villa Jesus Maria, filled up again there and went all the way to Mulege with still 1/2 tank left of gas. The town looks okay there are plenty of supplies ,ice etc.. The only problem going down there is a strech of road past Santa Rosalia, the hurricane hit a part of the road hard you have to GO SLOW THROUGH THOSE PARTS,follow the signals on the road they are all correct, overall a very nice ride ,i hope this helps,
Ivan
