can anyone tell me if any dredging has been done on the river since last June 08. I was there for a few weeks and I heard talk of it.

Well, I got an email just yesterday, from a friend who lives in La Fortuna, RIGHT on the river. He said it had been dredged, is 8 feet deep in some places, and sent pics of a snook which he caught off the seawall. FYI: La Fortuna is directly across from Sauls Grocery, Way up the river...Who ya gonna believe???

I was just there last month (January) and although I didn't see any dredging going on......the Mulege River looked great!

They just recently cleared away lot of "over-growth" along the river "west" of the bridge.

The flea market has moved and now you can take a detour under the bridge (north side) to get to the light house.

I'm heading down next week and I'll post a pic.
