Cara Acosta, a local Mulegino, was recently accepted to the Puccini School of Opera in Italy. She is the first Mexican to have the opportunity to attend this prestigious school. She will probably tour the world when the school ends and be an ambassador for Mulege and Mexico.

She is giving a concert thanking the people of Mulege (gringos and locals) at the Mission on Sunday, December 20th at 6pm. You won't believe the sound that comes out her. Donations for her food and lodging in Italy will be accepted at the concert to cover the costs apart from what the Italian gov't is sponsoring.
