Can anyone tell me if you can buy treated lumber in Mulege or next best Loreto? If so, do you know sizes available? 2x4, 2x6, 4x4, plywood? I see on the Web site for Home Depot Ensenada that they carry treated lumber - but that's about all they tell you. No details, and I'm not sure if treated lumber is in common use on teh Baja. We are new owners of a palapa on Bahia Concepcion and want to do a bit of remodeling. We're trying to figure out if we need to haul lumber from the US on our next trip. Any info would be appreciated.
The lumber store in Mulege sends a truck north a couple of times a week. They are usually able to bring back anything that you may need. Give them a try.
