I am considering purchasing a place in Mulege and storing my boat there for use as a vacation home. Before I commence on all of this, I would like to know how the fishing for the larger fish is as compared to East Cape. I normally go down to East Cape 2-3 times a year, so I know a little about the fishing there. I am specifically wondering about the dorado, yellow fin, marlin, and sailfish. From reading other reports, I see that all of these can be caught in the Mulege area, but at the quantities comparable (less than, more than, similar to) to those one can find in East Cape?
