MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF ARE HEADING DOWN THE BAJA PENINSULA IN MID TO LATE OCTOBER. WE WILL BE CROSSING THE BORDER IN TIAJUANA AND DRIVING ALL THE WAY DOWN TO CABO. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS, UPDATES, ADVICE OR ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP US ON OUR LONG JOURNEY, IT WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED. WE WILL BE MOVING THERE AND WILL HAVE 3 DOGS WITH US.

I can only speak to the conditions from La Paz (LPZ) to Mulege (MLG). The thru. after the hurricane "John" there was minor detours I am sure they have been repaired by now. I will say that the road conditions were good shape for the amount of rain that the highway received. No problems in gas also. As for Cabo the buses are running and heavy truck traffic also. Someone in the (MLG) area will have to speak about to the north of Mulege.

Have a safe trip,

Dave

Thanks for the update. If anyone out there has suggestions on the Mulege area that would be great. We don't head out until October 16.
