does anyone know the current status on the camping at Punta Chivato? What does the future look like? Are there any good ways to keep up to date on this? Muchos Gracias Amigos! -el tony

I was out there about two years ago...No palapas. Need 4X4 to get vehicle close to beach. Very friendly campers. Great time. BEWARE of scorpions and sidewinders (similar to rattlesnakes). Killed two sidewinders and one scorpion next to the public shower.
