Rusty and I will be traveling down the Baja for the first time in mid-March. Our destination is Mulege. I am looking for any helpful information about RV parks, eating, beach camping, snorkling. We have traveled numerous times to El Gulfo de Santa Clara and Kino Bay. It is always helpful to have a friend in the area. Thanks-Mary

Dear Glenn--

We are traveling from Northern New Mexico down to Yuma, AZ to stop and see family. We were looking to cross the border at Tecate where will get our Visas. The first night we are going to get past Ensenada. We have a four wheel drive deisel truck. Uncertain if we are taking our little camper or the truck camper along with our 4-wheeler. When staying at El Gulfo we would ride down the beach for 40 miles on the ATV. I love to snorkel. I love the water. Part of the time we were hoping to camp on the beach. Part of time in a RV park in order to take a shower. We both love the quiet of the beach but also the atmosphere of Mexico's towns. Last year we did not get to go to Mexico. My mother had a stroke in June. I stay with her and drive back and forth from Denver to Raton, NM. Rusty and I have had little time together. He has always wanted to travel down the Baja. He has gone to El Gulfo for 40+ years. Mulege with the bay looked like a wonderful place to enjoy the water and relax without too many people. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Looks like we will be there sometime the 2nd week in March, 8th or 9th, through sometime the following week. Rusty loves to talk and can have wonderful conversations. Right now I am in Denver without a map of Mexico. Going to Raton this weekend and will look up the towns you mentioned on our map. Thanks for your time--Mary
