leon has a lap top computer, it is up and running, but don't expect a quick answer, he has so much going on, he is workin out under shade at Dudley Young lot, check p/c some time.
he had to be recued from top of his office, got in small boat and hit top of his truck on way out and was almost thrown back in water, this came from leon's on mouth.

Leon's eMail address is located on this page:
http://oasisriobaja.com/contactus.htm

Leon has a "WebMail" address and he should be able to access it on any computer with working internet connection.

Seems easy enough to have someone contact Leon and ask him to check his eMail at the internet store, or any where else (I'm sure he can tack on the charges to the monthly lease/utility bill).

You have some broken windows; maybe a broken sliding glass door.

Bombero Jim- Rafa reports your trailer still in place; he thinks the wall behind you (to lot 514?) fell down. Also if he has time, he will take a closer look for a fuller report.

Rafa has not seen Jimmie & Annie Christopher yet. He says their back wall, across from the maintenance lot and that obscures the Bronco when parked there, is gone. I asked if it fell down, and he said "I don't remember seeing it; I think it is gone." He is starting on cleanup at Tussy's place tomorrow. Folks are getting tired. I guess they've been going full blast since the rain, non-stop.

JIM CAME INTO PARK STAYED ABOUT HOUR, LEFT TOWN.??????

DAD- Hank were there Sat.& Sun. Claims adjusters on site and we filed claim with Lewis & Lewis Sun. They have an office set up in the Mulege Hotel downtown rm 101, I believe. There is a link that has claims forms to download and file. Suggest you do so asap. Here is the Link: www.mexicanautoinsurance.com
Click on CLAIMS, click on HOMEOWNER, click on Atlas, anything you don't know say "unknown." You should rec. answer within couple of days....they are swamped!
I may be going back down as soon as the water gets re-established, when is unknown at this time.

My dad's place is right on the river about 4 lots north of Jim's restaurant. Based on the information we are getting right now, it does not sound good for the people of Mulege. I am also concerned for some friends of theirs that arrived last week, Tom & Patti Higgenbothim. If anyone can pass along information that they are ok and what the roads are like north of Mulege I would greatly appreciate it. God bless.

Patti- Road conditions are passable. Trucks and busses are rolling thru town (and stopping for deliveries) on schedule.

Martie & Suzie's place looks like:
1) ramada is still standing; didn't see any damage to it, but didn't get up close.
2) trailer is pushed off its jacks, on a line straight thru the ramada and sticking out at least 15 feet into lot 501. The tilt-outs are tilted in @ 45°. Trailer has a slight bend to in the long direction so that the floor bows up slightly in the middle.
3) long odds there is 6" to a foot of mud inside the trailer. I believe the water was over the top of the trailer after it came off the jacks.
4) There's a good size pile of debris stacked on the roadside; looks like stuff on the inside of the loop was trying to wash out to sea past their trailer.
5) No doubt Martie will be on the marine net reporting the capture of a very large fish inside the trailer Wink

Here we go again???!! Anyone in Mulege tracking Hurricane Lane?? It's due to hit Cabo tomorrow. With the river full of silt and the banks washed out, how much rain could Mulege stand before the Oasis is under water again?? Does Mulege have any sandbags??
