Manhattan Beach, Sister City of Santa Rosalia, is organizing acquisition of relief items, and hopefully transportation across the border at least. The rest of the trip arrangements are being worked out.

They need fact-based info on what is needed. If you have contact with those in Santa Rosalia or Mulegé who are in a position to know, please post your suggestions for items, and for distribution (who, where, contact method).

To get the ball rolling, I have emails from several people around Mulege, to witt:

shoes (particularly river-sandals)
flat-nose or scoop-type (snow) shovels, & other clean-up implements
bandages & antiseptic
Tylenol (this will be needed for the mosquito-borne fever, for which other more stomach-irritating fever relief (like aspirin or ibuprophen) will aggravate associated problems)
DEET type mosquito repellent
clothing

As to delivery & distribution, I will talk to Saul Davis @ Saul's Tienda tonight to get his input & forward ideas for Mulege.
