Does anyone have suggestions about passing a pick-up loaded with stuff to help people down in Mulege? May I expect trouble at the Mexican Customs. I mean stuff like pressure washer, power generator, pumps...plus clothing, etc.

You probable will have problems.
I ussually cross items that I collect to help an orphanage in Tijuana and sometimes they gave a hard time.
So what I do, I cross few items every day.
I work in San Diego and croos to Tijuana everyday
You probably will be able to cross if you camoflage items as you are going camping to baja.

You will need a manifest and expect to pay duty on all items- even tools that you will bring home. We crossed on 9/8 and it took almost 5 hrs. Apparently there was a shakeup in the customs dept. and now the military is checking vehicles. We saw some trucks being completely unloaded, though we were just searched.
